Banana Beach Resort is located on the beach area of Ambergris Caye known as Mar De Tumbo. This is one of the best natural beach areas of Ambergris Caye. There is a natural break in the reef about a quarter mile off shore. This break allows ocean waves to flow in more freely, providing deeper water and a sandier sea bed.
